The following schematic shows the design of a 2 Cell Lithium Ion Charger Circuit Diagram using 555 Timer and LM339 IC. The circuit could be used to charge other types of batteries such as Ni-Cad, NiMh or lead acid. The LM339 IC consists of four independent precision voltage comparators with an offset voltage specification as low as 2 mV max for all four comparators.
