The following schematic illustrates the AM Radio Receiver Block Diagram using TDA1072A. Its consists of Gain Controlled R.F. Stage, Internal Supply Voltages, Controlled Oscillator, Indicator Driver, Double Balanced Mixer, Standby Switch, Gain Controlled I.F. Amplifier, Balanced Full – Wave Detector, A.F. Preamplifier, and A.G.C. Amplifier.
The TDA1072A integrated AM receiver circuit performs the active and part of the filtering functions of an AM radio receiver.
